⚠️ BEFORE YOU BUILD A HIGHLIGHT REEL… YOU NEED THIS FIRST.
If your profile looks like a casual Sunday League baller, you’ve already lost.
Let Me Be Brutally Honest…
You could have filthy tekkers
You could outplay academy players on your best day.
You might be a monster in training…
But if a scout lands on your Instagram and sees:
- A selfie in the mirror
- A random quote from 2019
- Zero highlights, stats, or bio
Guess what?
⚠️ You’re not getting a reply.
Scouts don’t chase mystery players.
They make quick decisions based on what they see instantly.
If you look average online…
They’ll assume you play average too.
THIS IS WHERE MOST PLAYERS BLOW THEIR SHOT
They finally get the guts to message a coach —
But their profile says:
“No effort. No presence. Not serious.”
That ends here.
In this module, we’re building your Player Brand —
The version of you that makes scouts say:
“Okay, I’m interested.”
What Is a Player Brand?
Your Player Brand is the way a coach, scout, or club perceives you in the first 10 seconds.
It answers these 3 critical questions at a glance:
1. Who are you?
2. What do you play like?
3. Why should they care?
Most players don’t think this far.
That’s why their highlight reels fall flat.
That’s why their DMs get ignored.
But you?
You’re about to craft a brand that opens doors before you ever touch the ball.
STEP 1: CRAFT YOUR PLAYER IDENTITY
This is your one-line summary — like your football elevator pitch.
“I’m a [position] known for [trait 1] and [trait 2]. I play with [style of play].”
Examples:
“I’m a box-to-box midfielder known for stamina and game intelligence. I control tempo and break up play.”
“I’m a left-footed winger with explosive pace and a deadly final ball. I create chances and pin full-backs deep.”
Craft your sentence. Memorize it. Live it.
This is how you introduce yourself to clubs — with clarity and confidence.
STEP 2: BUILD A PROFESSIONAL CV
Here’s the hard truth:
Most football CVs are either:
- Sloppy and embarrassing
- Too long and full of fluff
- Or they don’t exist at all
You’re getting a plug-and-play CV template used by real players who get trials.
What your CV must include:
- Name, age, height, weight, strong foot
- Primary position + traits
- Career history (teams, trials, achievements)
- Key stats (goals, assists, clean sheets, apps)
- Link to your highlight reel
- Contact info + social handles
Fill it out, export as PDF — this is your scout-ready file.
STEP 3: OPTIMISE YOUR INSTAGRAM PROFILE
Yes — scouts check Instagram. Every. Single. Time.
Here’s what they want to see:
Profile photo: Clear pic in kit or training gear
Username: clean and simple. Your name. avoid numbers, and _
Bio: Position, traits, current team/free agent
Content: Match clips, training, stats
Pinned posts: Best highlights, introduction video
You'll look like a serious player in under 10 minutes.
STEP 4: START COLLECTING QUALITY FOOTAGE
Even if you play grassroots — you can still create elite-level content.
Here’s what you need:
- Match Footage (film entire games on tripod or phone)
- Close-Ups (cut-ins, 1v1s, tackles, passes, goals)
- Training Videos (solo drills, gym work, ball mastery)
- Photos (in kit, warmups, group huddles, team shots)
WHY THIS MODULE IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE
This is bigger than looking good
It’s about building trust at a glance.
When a scout checks you out, and sees:
- A strong player identity
- A clean, professional CV
- A dialled-in Instagram presence
They’ll know you’re not a random. You’re a baller.
But If You Skip This?
- You’ll keep getting ignored in the DMs.
- Your clips won’t get taken seriously.
- And you’ll lose out to players with half your skill, but 10x your presence.
Your Action Steps for This Module:
✅ Complete your Player Identity Worksheet
✅ Fill out your Football CV and save as PDF
✅ Optimise your Instagram Profile
✅ Begin filming and collecting photos this week
You don’t need perfection. You need progress.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll already be more scoutable than 90% of players out there.
Now You’re Ready for Module 3:
How to Create a Professional Highlight Reel That Gets Watched.
Most players send long, boring, unedited videos…
And scouts click off in the first 10 seconds.
In Module 3, I’ll show you the exact formula scouts are trained to watch for — so your reel holds attention and gets callbacks.
