You’ve Built the Foundation — Now It’s Time to Be Seen.
By now, you’ve already done more than most players ever will:
✅ You’ve defined your football identity
✅ You’ve created a clean, professional CV
✅ You’ve built a highlight reel that actually sells you
But now comes the part that separates dreamers from doers…
Now it’s time to reach out.
To decision-makers.
To coaches.
To scouts.
To people who can change your football life.
REALITY CHECK: Scouts Won’t Find You By Accident
Unless you're in a top-tier academy, you’re not on their radar — and that’s okay.
Because now you know how to change that.
Every email you send is a shot at a trial.
Every DM is a possible connection.
Every follow-up could be *the* breakthrough.
But only if you do it the right way.
STEP 1: How to Find Scouts, Coaches & Recruiters
Scouts are everywhere — you just have to know where to look.
Start building your Personal Contact Tracker using these platforms:
✅ LinkedIn – search for “academy scout,” “football recruitment,” etc.
✅ Club websites – check the staff/directories for names & emails
✅ Instagram – look through tagged posts from clubs & academies
✅ X (Twitter) – many scouts and agents are active here
✅ YouTube – watch interviews where coaches & players drop names
Create a Google Sheets to log names, clubs, roles, and responses. This is your trial map.
STEP 2: How to Message Like a Pro
Most players sound like beggars:
“Please give me a chance.”
“Just look at my video.”
That’s not how pros message.
You need to sound confident, respectful, and clear.
Use this exact template:
Subject: Aspiring Player – CV & Highlight Reel Attached
Body: Hi [Name],
My name is [Your Name], I’m a [Position] from [City], currently [Club / Free Agent]. I’ve attached my CV and highlight reel for your consideration. I’d really value any feedback — or if you know of any upcoming opportunities.
Thanks for your time,
Name,
Phone Number,
Email,
[Attach highlight reel]
STEP 3: Smart DM Strategy (Instagram & Twitter)
Scouts are human. They check their socials.
But if your DM is messy, desperate, or too long — it’s ignored.
DM Like a Pro:
- Keep it short (3–4 lines max)
- Use your player identity confidently
- NEVER send more than one follow-up
- Warm up the contact — like, comment, and follow before messaging
Best Time to DM? Evenings (6–9pm) or early mornings — higher reply rate
STEP 4: Follow-Up Without Being Annoying
No reply after 5–7 days?
Here’s your 1-line follow-up:
“Hi [Name], just checking in to see if you had a chance to view my highlight reel. Would love any feedback or insight. Thanks again.”
That’s it. No spam. No chasing.
Just a calm reminder that keeps you on their radar.
Track Every Message You Send:
- ✅ Date sent
- ✅ Response (yes, no, ignored
- ✅ Notes (feedback, next follow-up, etc.)
Use your Contact Tracker like a business owner.
⚠️ IF YOU SKIP THIS MODULE:
- You’ll post clips and never hear back
- You’ll have a sick highlight reel that no one ever sees
- You’ll get overlooked — not for lack of talent, but for lack of action
This is where most players give up.
You won’t.
YOUR ACTION STEPS FOR MODULE 4:
1. Use LinkedIn, Instagram & club websites to find 10–20 contacts
2. Fill in your Contact Spreadsheet
3. Copy + customize the Outreach Templates
4. Send 3–5 messages per day
5. Track replies, follow up once, and repeat weekly
Build momentum. Build relationships.
Build your future.
Now You’re Ready for Module 5…
The Weekly Game Plan for Player Growth & Scout Visibility.
You’ve built the brand.
You’ve created the highlight reel.
You’ve started outreach.
Now you need the system to stay consistent, every single week.
Most players train hard for two weeks… then disappear.
They message five clubs… then ghost their dreams.
They post one video… and expect everything to fall into place.
Module 5 is how you separate yourself — for good.
Inside, you’ll get:
✅ The Weekly Game Plan Template
✅ My Training & Match Fitness Tracker
✅ Daily Scout-Readiness System
✅ Progress Log to keep improving each week
One click. Instant access.
This is what I give my academy players to stay locked in and 10x their chances of getting trials.
